Rules of the Game

Every rank position on the leaderboard is purchasable. Rank #1 is the most visible, and each rank down decreases exposure.

The minimum bid to enter the leaderboard is $1.00 USD for any vacant rank.

To take an occupied rank, you must pay at least $1.00 more than the current occupant paid. Higher bid always wins.

Paying less than the #1 bid still places you on the board at the rank your bid amount can claim. Bid your amount, claim your spot.

Ranks are re-sorted after every successful payment. The highest payer holds Rank #1 at all times.

If you are outbid, your startup drops in rank accordingly. You are not refunded — this is a marketing auction, not a ticketed service.

All payments are processed securely via Dodo Payments. We do not store your card details.

Bids are denominated in USD. Your card may be charged in your local currency at the prevailing exchange rate.

Payment is required at checkout before your rank is confirmed. Your spot is not reserved until payment succeeds.

No refunds. All bids are final. By clicking "Claim Spot", you confirm you understand and accept this policy.

In case of a payment failure, the bid is discarded and the rank is not affected. You may retry immediately.

Chargebacks will result in permanent removal from the leaderboard and a ban from future bidding.

Startups listed must be real, accessible products or services. Fake, parked-domain, or spam submissions will be removed without refund.

Listings must not promote illegal content, adult content, gambling, financial scams, phishing, or malware.

Twitter/X handles submitted must belong to the startup, not a personal account unrelated to the product.

We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these rules, applicable law, or our community standards — at our sole discretion.

startbid.lol complies with applicable data protection laws. We collect only the minimum information needed to display your listing and process your payment.

You may submit the same URL again to outbid yourself and move up the leaderboard — this is fully allowed.

Automated bidding bots, scripts, or programmatic attacks against the auction system are strictly prohibited and will result in permanent IP bans.

You may not submit a URL on behalf of another party without their explicit consent.

Gaming the system (e.g. submitting placeholder URLs to block ranks) is a violation and will result in removal.

startbid.lol is a marketing tool. We do not guarantee any specific number of clicks, conversions, or traffic.

We are not responsible for technical outages, payment provider downtime, or leaderboard inaccuracies caused by third-party services.

startbid.lol reserves the right to modify these rules at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
